This is an insight, on my out of sight world. Find out what barriers and challenges I face due to my visual impairment, my dreams and aspirations despite being disabled and anything else I feel like blogging about.

Congratulations Seleena. I am so happy for you. It seems weird that you will be on your own for training. Is that just for the home stuff you will be?
Can i ask what age you are? I just mean that i am curious. Next week, i will be going up to the hotel where i will eventually train. My rehab worker wants me to have a look at the layout of it and all so that i have one less thing to worry about. Good luck with training!!!!!!
Take care, xoxox.
I'll be in the hotel alone. The week after 2 others will start their training, but my trainer wanted to allow as much time as possible for my routes.
I'm 21 and was put on the waiting list when I was 19.
Oh right. You nervous?
I was 18 when i was put on the list. Good luck with the training. Is the rest of the training at home?
Take care, xoxox
Hi Selina,
I hope your training goes well! I don't know you, but I'd still like to wish you well, because I think from what I know of training with my first guide dog with another person for company, I'd be sad to be the only one in the class too! I've read all your blog so far and would like to continue to follow it.
Happy blogging!
Thanks and it's nice to see new commenters to know my blog is being read by others! Thought I would have bored everyone to death by now!
I'm a little anxious about training, but can't wait to get stuck in now. Yes, the rest of my training is at home.
Good Luck Selina keep us posted I hope it goes well but to be honest I wouldnt like to be on my own training I dont like being alone though and at least its only for a week so wishing you all the luck in the world that it all works out for you, I was 18 when I first applied was put on the waiting list at 19 and got Pearce at 20.
